Bugger. It's been 6 days since I had a WiFi feed good enough to get some photos up.

Currently in Hawaii now after Peter and Alice drove me from Trevs place Monday morning down to Heathrow.

It was a 22 hour run from the time I left Matlock till I arrived in Hawaii to meet with Amanda and the kids.

Whinlatter is in the north lakes and is a intermediate level park with 2 x red loops and one blue one. Aprox 1.5 hours of riding.

Typical trail, with lots of very wet puddles.

A sweet afternoons riding. Soaked thru from the puddles and mud in the bits where you don't want mud.

After our 3rd day in the lakes we headed off back to Glossop to get ready to head of to Matlock on the Saturday morning for the big party.

I took the Friday off and headed into Manchester to go and visit the science and industrial muesum.

After talking to this guy I have a better understanding of the English chanel system. This guy brought his boat for 20k pounds in london and it took him 3 weeks to motor to Manchester.

Very nice dock location,  with a few nice pubs overlooking the area.

After this photo was taken I headed back to the train station. That is when I came across the Piccadilly pub craft brew house.

After a train hm and a last night at Glossop we headed off towards Matlock early Saturday morning. Pete had strained a wrist riding a ridged bike and had organised for me to have a ride with his mate Phil and a couple of his mates in the Lady bower dam area.

Me getting dropped of for the ride.

We were heading on an out and back 30k ride across the moors with a convenient cafe at the far end.

Came across these 2 chaps riding electric German Haibike fat bikes. Yes I did scam a ride!! 50 lbs and fast! And yes we need to talk about getting one. Apparently there is a new full susser due in 3 months with Yamaha electrics. Will be 10k nzd plus.

This is the Hardest bit on the return leg. Stone steps down the last Ridge, This was the best bit on the ride. Others took the nana line.
